Home to long stretches of white sand and crystal clear waters, Karon Beach & Kata Beach are among the most popular of the island’s many swimming spots. Get Up To Some Monkey Business
Take a break from the beach and explore the Khoa Phra Thaew nature area. Splash through the waterfalls, and hike through the luscious jungle across the mountain range. Keep your eyes peeled for furry friends, this nature area is home to the Gibbon project: a conservation project for the endangered animals. The adorable apes are referred to as “Queen of the forest” in Thai, and their beauty and grace make it easy to see why.

Fall Head Over Heels
For the adrenaline seeker, check out Phuket Jungle Bungy. The jump is 50m above a lush lagoon, surrounded by jungle. You have the option to jump alone or go tandem with a friend, but if you choose the “water-touch bungy” be prepared to get wet!

Watch The Sunset

The Phuket government has already decided the nightclubs and go-go’s will remain closed for the island opening. Keeping in mind it’s also illegal to serve alcohol in Thailand. There is no projection on when either of those rules will change. While the beach’s are open, it’s not a given all the outdoor activities will be right away. Last it’s monsoon season right now through October. I’ve been to Thailand during monsoon season and yes many times it only rains for a few hours and the sun comes right back out. But I’ve also seen it rain for days on end in buckets. There is a reason its low season so buyer beware.
