Airplane food’s horrible reputation is coming to an end as more airlines are offering fresh and delicious meals for their customers. Now, Delta Air Lines has just announced a new onboard menu update that will make travelers want to fly with this carrier as soon as possible.

Delta has shared the news: food and beverages will be refreshed. Those traveling on Delta One—the carrier’s most premium cabin fare— will get to enjoy exclusive products and the dessert cart the carrier is bringing back on international flights. Building your own ice cream sundae or eating an opera cake with chocolate ganache are just a few of the options available on this exclusive dessert cart.

The new menu update includes seasonally-inspired menu items, premium rosé wine, plant-based cheesesteaks, espresso martinis, and more. The carrier will include more vegetarian options and established partnerships with three James Beard Award-winning chefs and winemaker Jamie Benziger.

The carrier wants travelers to experience onboard meals as they would at restaurants. “Your onboard meal or beverage should be no different than your go-to restaurant at home, and that’s why we’re constantly reinventing our onboard service at Delta,” said Kristen Manion Taylor, S.V.P. of In-Flight Service at Delta.

Food onboard is changing and adapting to travelers’ needs. Just a few months ago, both airlines, United and Delta Air Lines, updated their menus to include plant-based meals, in partnership with Impossible Foods, for their customers.
