You know what’s sometimes more alluring than visiting a beachy destination in the winter? Planning a city escape to one of Europe’s most beautiful spots.
Known for its diverse landscapes, varying cities, and festivities, Europe is certainly a sought-after location during the winter months especially.
We all know European travel for Americans sky-rocketed during the summer, but winter adventures are making a huge comeback. With their calendar of activities and festive foodie options, cities are the ideal location to hunker down for the cozy months.
Believe it or not, winter is the best time to visit one iconic city in particular: Paris.
What’s more romantic than strolling along the narrow alleyways during sunset, listening to the laughter of locals and the soft music emanating from nearby restaurants?
Festive Markets And Mulled Wine Anyone?
There’s something about festive markets that stirs a child-like excitement in adults worldwide. You walk through a sea of lights, hot chocolate in hand, filled with awe and Christmas spirit, and you know where takes winter markets to a whole new level? The City of Light.

Picture rows of mini Christmas chalets are set up, donning the best decor, snacks, and unique gifts.
When you’re ready to admire the magic of the Eiffel Tower’s famous light display or to see the city from the ferris wheel, head on over to Tuileries Christmas Market.
What To Expect At The Market:

- Christmas-themed Carnival
- An abundance of snack and drink options
- Champagne Igloo
- Small Ice-Rink

Mickey And Friends Celebrate The Holidays
There’s nothing quite like living the magic of Christmas at Disney Paris with Mickey Mouse and friends. The charming atmosphere brings families and friends together for a unique day out strolling through the enchanted Disneyland.
Be on the lookout for Mini-Mouse’s most festive outfit- because we all know she’ll be dressed to impress! Admire the 78-foot tree as it illuminates the happy faces strolling through the Town Square. You’ll truly feel as though you’ve stepped into a winter wonderland.
