According to data from Omio, a travel booking platform, these five countries have the lowest cost of living for digital nomads.
These countries are also ideal for digital nomads based on other ranking factors: availability of digital nomad visas, safety, Internet speeds, and number of co-working spaces are just a few of the many factors this study took into account.

5. Argentina
Argentina is one of the best places to live as a digital nomad. You can enjoy a great quality of living for a very low cost, thanks to the unofficial exchange rate. I just spent over a month in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, and I found it to be one of the best cities for digital nomads.
Beyond Buenos Aires, other popular (and even cheaper) cities in Argentina that are popular with digital nomads include Cordoba and Mendoza.
Living in Argentina, you can also travel to stunning destinations like Iguazu Falls and Patagonia in your free time. Argentina offers a 12-month digital nomad visa requiring an income of $1,400 per month.

Another country that’s cheap for digital nomads is Indonesia, particularly the island of Bali. This digital nomad hotspot has something from everyone, from the beaches and nightlife of Canggu to the chilled-out vibe of the jungle in Ubud.
Bali now offers 6-month digital nomad visas, perfect for remote workers who want to spend more time beyond the standard 60 days allowed for most foreign visitors.
