An annual World’s Best Cities report by Resonance Consultancy has just revealed the 10 best cities in the world.  

Here is the full list:

10. Seoul

Seoul is a fascinating city that sits at the forefront of modern culture. It has a reputation for its kimchi, K-pop, and incredible beauty trends but it is also a high-tech hub.  

The capital of South Korea also has an ancient heart and travelers can explore Buddhist temples, shrines, and classic settlements too.  

Travelers are drawn to Seoul thanks to its bustling street-food scene, lively night markets, and cutting-edge fashion trends which make it a great place to visit.

9. Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the smallest city on this top 10 list, but it is a city that is small but perfectly formed!  

Amsterdam has one of the most vibrant, exciting, and sometimes out-of-control nightlife scenes in Europe but there are so many other things to see and do in the city too.  

Take a cruise along the city’s canals, visit the immersive museums and galleries including the Van Gogh Museum, or explore diarist Anne Frank’s house. Amsterdam is a 24-hour city where there’s always something to see and do, no matter what time of day.

8. Barcelona

London boasts some of the world’s most famous sites, from Big Ben to Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. Travelers enjoy hopping on iconic red double-decker buses and stopping for a beer or two in a traditional pub.  

But away from these traditional attractions London is a modern city. Modern galleries, an innovative nightclub and music scene, and abundant green spaces feature highly here. Everyone should visit London at least once in their lifetime.

Why doesn't an off the path blog cover off the path spots? These could be the top of the list for heavily touristed places. If I hadn't been to one of these, I might give it a couple of days, then go to the quieter, realer places.I would never pick a destination based on one of these lists.

I'm not sure who reported those 10 "best" cities to visit. Honestly the only one worthy on that list is a Singapore. The rest of them are deadbeat tourist attractions. France for example has much more to offer than Paris. My sister lives in Saverne, located in Alsace region of France, I find it much more worthy to visit than Paris.
